Facilities and Locations

All BISAC Outpatient and Therapeutic Living Program (TLP) sites are handicap accessible and either meet, or have plans to meet, ADA requirements and local/state building codes designed by fire and County agencies. TLP sites are centrally located to our outpatient offices and other human service programs.

All sites are equipped
and available through
remote access.

Transportation is
provided for all TLP
clients.

Outpatient Facilities

Our Hilo Outpatient facility, located across from the Hilo Library, houses Adult and Adolescent Programs as well as our Hawai‘i Island Health and Wellness Center. Our Outpatient site in Kealakekua is located on the same road as McDonald’s and across the street from drug court. The grounds and facilities at both locations are large enough to comfortably accommodate one-on-one individual counseling sessions, while respecting privacy, providing more than enough space for group counseling activities.

Administrative Office

BISAC’s Administrative Office is located in the Shipman Industrial Business Park. This site includes substance treatment services, smoking cessation, mental health services, and administrative services.

The organization is proactive regarding safety and the environment of care, and there is a well-established health and safety program. Interviews with individuals served, staff members, family members, and other stakeholders indicate a high level of satisfaction with services. All stated that they feel staff members truly care and that they are fortunate to receive services of such high quality.
